ECET 2013 Exam Pattern

Three hours are allotted for the 200-question exam. All questions are multiple choice objective type. Depending on whether you hold a diploma or the B.Sc. in mathematics, the syllabus differs. The test varies according to subject. The three papers are listed below with the maximum marks possible. Question papers are offered in English only.
Engineering
- Mathematics: 50 marks
- Physics: 25 marks
- Chemistry: 25 marks
- Engineering: 100 marks (separate paper for each branch)
Total: 200 marks
B.Sc. (Mathematics)
- Mathematics: 100 marks
- Analytical Ability: 50 marks
- Communicative English: 50 marks
Total: 200 marks
Pharmacy
Section 1: Pharmaceutics
- Pharmaceutics - I: 20 questions
- Pharmaceutics - II: 20 questions
- Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence: 10 questions
Section 2: Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry - I: 20 questions
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry - II: 15 questions
- Bio-chemistry and Clinical Pathology: 15 questions
Section 3: Pharmacognosy
- Pharmacognosy: 20 questions
- Drug Store and Business Management: 15 questions
- Health Education and Community Pharmacy subjects: 15 questions
Section 4: Pharmacology
- Human Anatomy and Physiology: 20 questions
- Pharmacology and Toxicology: 20 questions
- Hospital Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy: 10 questions
