EAMCET 2012 - Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher Education EC.2 Dept dt: 28-07-2011) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU), Hyderabad for entry into the first year of the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2012-2013 in the University and Private unaided & affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

• B.E, B.Tech./ B.Tech. (Bio-Tech) / B.Tech. (Diary Technology)/ B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering)/ B. Pharmacy / B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology (FST)) / B.Sc. (Commercial Agri. & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)).
• B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc.
• MBBS / BDS

AP EAMCET 2012 Entrance Exam

The JNTU conducts EAMCET Entrance Exam 2012 for undergraduate admissions in engineering, agriculture and medical courses and prepares the merit list of candidates for on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Candidate who successfully finds place in merit list of EAMCET 2012 can get admission into 1st semester program of engineering / agricultural / architecture / medial courses.

The choice of course which a candidate chooses to study is totally depend upon the subject combination which a candidate opt for to appear in EAMCET 2012 examination.

However, the choice of subject combination in EAMCET 2012 test again depends on the stream of subjects studied by a candidate at qualifying level examination. The university announces notification for the sale of application form for EAMCET 2012 examination on the behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher of Education (APSCHE).

Submission of the Online Application Form for Engineering (E) and Agriculture & Medicine (AM) streams

Candidates with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Bio-Tech/Biology as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “E” stream online application for Engineering B.E/B.Tech./B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.)/B.Tech.(Dairy Technology)/B.Tech.(FST) / B.Sc.(CA&BM) (MPC) / B.Pharm. (MPC)/Pharm-D (MPC) courses.

Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “AM” stream online application for B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA&BM) / MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS / B.Pharm / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) / Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses. For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C), candidates shall pass / appear for Bridge Course exam in Mathematics conducted by B.I.E, A.P as per G.O.17 dt. 2-2-08.

EAMCET 2012 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum EAMCET Eligibility Criteria to appear for EAMCET 2012 is as follows:

A pass in the Intermediate Examination or appearance at 2nd year Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent thereto recognized by BIE, AP.

A pass at Diploma examination or appearance at the final year Diploma Examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P. or its equivalent thereto. Diploma candidates are eligible to apply for B.E/B.Tech./ B.Pharm courses only. Diploma in pharmacy are eligible to apply for Pharm-D course.

In case of such students who appear for the entrance Test, pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in the said qualifying examination

Candidates should be of Indian nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) I Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (regulations for admission) order 1974 and its amendments (vide G.O.P.No. 646 dt: 10-7-79 of Education (W) Department).
